What is AMB Aero Design?

As those in high level motor sports have known for years, aerodynamics are everything. It can provide the most performance benefit of any one system, is the most critical and provides the highest return on investment.  Unfortunately, it is also one of the least understood.

AMB Aero provides development services to the Motorsport Industry. We offer complete solutions end to end.  From design concepts, research, development, defining costs and seeing it through to prototypes or full scale production.

In the past, real aerodynamic development was restricted to the highest levels of racing, only big budget teams could afford wind tunnel time.  With the advent of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the ability to develop and test solutions has become much more accessible and even F1 is using it to cut costs.  Through our specialized expertise, we can offer these proven solutions to our customers at all price points and the result is a competitive advantage that wins races.
Anyone can learn to use CFD, but what sets apart the skilled professionals is the ability to properly interpret the data and then translate it into creative and affordable solutions. This is not possible without years of experience and track side engineering. Our staff come from a winning background in GT racing. We have developed hundreds of prototypes and tested them on track.  We have experience using CFD, wind tunnel testing and on track testing to validate the design concepts.
